Almost any type of flat item can be entrapped within acrylic. Some examples are credit cards, dollar bills, coins, patches, certificates, photos, documents, etc...
An entrapment is basically three pieces of plastic with the item sandwiched between them. The front piece is usually
a 1/2" thick piece of clear acrylic, the center is usually a .100" - 1/8" thick piece of black acrylic, and the back piece is usually a 1/2" piece of clear acrylic. The center
piece has a space cutout of it to match the size and shape of the item that is being entrapped. The item is then placed within this cutout space
and then the front and back pieces are attached to the center piece.
